With DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little) having exited Death in Paradise, fans have started to speculate who could replace him as the lead in the series. Viewers were left devastated when Neville sailed off into the sunset with love interest Florence in the series 13 finale, which aired on 24 March. Ralf, 44, had starred in the BBC One series for over four years, having taken over from actor Ardal O'Hanlon, who portrayed DI Jack Mooney, in 2020.

Despite Ralf's exit having aired, a replacement for DI Neville has not yet been announced by BBC bosses. It has been confirmed a new series of Death in Paradise will air in 2025, as well as Christmas special later this year.
The lucky actor selected to take over from Ralf will get to spend six months filming on the Carribbean island group of Guadeloupe, and become the star of the hit show. Speculation surrounding the next Death in Paradise star has already started, and Gambling.com entertainment expert James Leyfield has all of the information. Diane, 48, is best known for playing Kath in Netflix's After Life, as well as Liz in BBC's Motherland. She's also created her own mockumentary series Cunk on Britain, as well as writing and starring in the comedy series Mandy. However, Diane looks set to face competition from fellow BBC comedy star in Miranda Hart, who is 2/1 second favourite.
Miranda, 51, has also been backed by former Death in Paradise star Ben Miller. He told Radio Times: "I could see that, 100 per cent. I think
