Death in Paradise fans think they've worked out how DI Neville Parker could make a return to the hit series.
The character, portrayed by actor Ralf Little, exited the show in the finale of the thirteenth series. DI Neville decided he needed to go travelling and explore the world, prompting him to bid farewell to the Caribbean island in emotional scenes on Sunday, 24 March. Neville got his happy ending too, as he eventually reunited with love interest Florence and they jetted off together.
Fans have been left devastated by the exit, with many hoping Neville could make a return to Death in Paradise in the future. Many have now shared their theories on social media, as they pin their hopes on a spin-off series. Fans are hoping Neville, along with love interest Florence, may wind back up on the island of Saint Marie.
A previous Death in Paradise spin-off show, titled Beyond Paradise, proved to be a hit with fans, so it could be a possibility in the future. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan wrote: "You've been brilliant Ralf. Loved watching your character grow.
Thank you.
I hope we get Neville and Florence spin off." A second added: "Oh, gutted! Genuinely hoped we'd see Neville & Florence come back after a few months of island hopping all ready to solve more cases. Glad that you got to film a happy ending, and thanks for being brilliant for the last 4.5yrs. You're going to be missed, but can't wait to see what you do next." "Nice way to bring Neville and Florence to an end.
Door always open for them to return as a new crime solving duo. Paradise on the Waves," a third viewer wrote. And a fourth viewer said: "Loved the finale but gutted Neville and Florence have left, was looking forward to them solving cases
