The husband of Olympic diver Tom Daley, Dustin Lance Black, has shared that he recently suffered a "serious head injury" and was advised to "shut off [his] brain" in order to recover. Dustin, 48, said it had been a “challenging, frightening time” but he has been on the "long road back" to recovery. Posting to Instagram, the American screenwriter said that he and husband, Gold-medallist Tom Daley, 28, had taken a trip to Greece to rehabilitate.

Mork and Mindy and Perfect Strangers creator Dale McRaven has died at the age of 83.The writer and television showrunner died in his home in Porter Ranch, California, his son David told Variety. McRaven died from complications related to lung cancer.McRaven co-created Mork and Minda with Joe Glauberg and Garry Marshall, which was a sitcom starring Robin Williams and Pam Dawber which ran for four seasons.Perfect Strangers also ran as a sitcom on ABC, for eight seasons spanning 150 episodes.

McRaven received nominations from both the Writers Guild of America Awards and the Primetime Emmys for his work writing on ABC’s “Mork & Mindy,” which he served as a co-creator of alongside Joe Glauberg and the late film director Garry Marshall, who he worked closely with throughout his career.

A new documentary on the legendary Detroit producer and rapper J Dilla is in the works from executive producer Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson, drummer for The Roots and director of the Oscar-winning Summer of Soul. The film is based on the book Dilla Time: The Life and Afterlife of J Dilla, The Hip-Hop Producer Who Reinvented Rhythm by Dan Charnas. Questlove will team up once more alongside Joseph Patel, his co-producer on Summer of Soul, with a producing team of Zarah Zolhman, Shawn Gee, Tariq Trotter, Rodrigo Bascuñán, Darby Wheeler, and Anupa Mistry (both Patel and Mistry are former employees of The FADER).
