Coronation Street star Sue Nicholls has shared how she feared the end of her beloved character Audrey Roberts when it was revealed her on-screen son was a villain - but shared how she could still end up getting the chop. Todd Boyce reprised the role of Stephen Reid in the ITV soap last year, 15 years after he was last seen on the famous street.
His sudden return came just in the nick of time as Audrey found herself in trouble, having got stuck underneath a model scooter in the barbers after her drinking got a bit out of hand. But as we now know, his comeback wasn't innocent and it didn't take long for viewers to see that with his finances in a dire state, he planned to fleece his own mother.
