Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs legend Alan Halsall 'in talks to join I'm A Celebrity'

Get Me Out Of Here! as the actor is currently “in talks” to join the next group of willing stars. ITV bosses are said to be “over the moon” that Corrie favourite Alan, 40, might be heading down under for the 2023 series.
Alan first joined the Corrie cobbles in 1998 as Tyrone and went on to marry his childhood sweetheart, and fellow Corrie fav, Fiz. A source revealed to The Sun that the actor is one of the “most loved characters” so there would be a “ready-made fan base” for Alan. “Alan is a top lad with bags of personality so ITV are over the moon he's in talks to join their 2023 cast," the source told the publication.
A spokesperson for the hit ITV show added: “Any names suggested at this stage are speculation”. OK! has contacted Alan’s representatives and ITV representatives for comment. Alan’s character Tyrone has had a challenging journey on the soap, and after a two decade long on-off romance with Fiz, played by Jennie McAlpine, the pair tied the knot in an episode which was aired on Christmas Day last year.
Fans went wild for the happy couple and show bosses shared a sweet video of Alan and Jennie looking back at their best moments. Alan described watching the clips as “interesting” because he had “no recollection” of some of the clips they had filmed. He said: “All these different moments in their lives… it's 20 years, I suppose, but there were times where we had real, big, passionate kisses and we're looking at each other and I'm thinking, 'I don't remember...
