Coronation Street star Calum Lill has been told to 'try harder' after getting a slight telling off by a family member over his latest soap scenes. The actor joined the ITV soap last year as solicitor Joel Deering who quickly struck up a romance with Dee-Dee Bailey.

Joel has since been left begging for Dee-Dee's forgiveness, explaining that he is in the process of divorcing his wife but has been battling to see his young daughter.
