Coronation Street's Dylan Wilson, played by Liam McCheyne, is set to take the blame for nasty bully Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan), after being framed by him in the episode on Wednesday 6 March - and fans are fuming.
The drama continued as Dylan confessed that he was one of the teens bullying Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall), and finally admitted that Mason threatened him with a knife. His mum, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon), and stepdad Gary Windass (Mikey North), were furious and took a scared Liam to the police station. After his confession, Craig Tinker (Colson Smith), and another officer visited number 11 explaining they believed a zombie knife used in an attack is in the house.
Dylan swore he knew nothing about it and his angry dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton), questioned why they aren't also searching Mason's house. But, Craig reassured him that they were. Mason later told Dylan to get the knife and meet him in the ginnel but it was all a trap and as Dylan nervously waited, Craig came over and conducted a search.
Poor Dylan found himself in a pickle after discovering the knife hidden in his bag. Before he knew it, he was arrested, realising that bad boy Mason had set him up perfectly. Solicitor Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) tried to make Dylan aware of the gravity of his situation and told him to snitch on Mason or face serious charges.
In the end, Dylan came clean and told the police everything. But sadly, it seemed like his confession fell on deaf ears, as heart-breaking news followed, that the CPS had decided to charge him. Fans expressed their fury at the twist in the storyline, sharing their thoughts on social networking site X.
