Coronation Street's Bobby star sends 'back' update after being supported by co-stars

Coronation Street star Jack Carrol had an update for fans after being flooded with praise and support from his co-stars. The comedian and actor joined the ITV soap as Bobby, the nephew of Weatherfield favourite Carla Connor.
But viewers were shocked to learn that Bobby is the son of Carla’s brother Rob Donovan, who is serving life in prison for the murder of Tina McIntyre. She was unaware he had a son as Rob hadn’t managed to let Carla know the news until she spoke to him from behind bars to confirm the sudden new arrival.
He's since made himself comfortable living with his auntie and landed himself a job at her factory, Underworld. However, he's recently been wrapped up in finding out what has happened to new love interest Lauren Bolton after she suddenly disappeared with the missing person case now a murder probe.

And it appears he's keeping busy as taking to Instagram, the former Britain's Got Talent star shared a selfie as he was back on the set of the Salford-based soap. Alongside the snap, Jack wrote: "Back causing brother as Bobby today," seemingly from the flat his character now shares with Carla.
It comes after Jack recently revealed he'd been delivered some great news. Taking to social media, the new soap star revealed it had been shortlisted for a TV Bafta ahead of the annual awards ceremony, which will take place on May 12 at the Royal Festival Hall in London, for his own comedy short, Mobility.
