The famous dad of Coronation Street star Luca Toolan has joined in with the commentary after his son's character was told he'll face a custodial sentence in new scenes. Fans of the ITV soap have been waiting for Weatherfield High student Mason Radcliffe, played by the newcomer, to get his comeuppance.
As Corrie viewers know, Mason has been the leader of the heartbreaking bullying storyline which has seen the new character being relentless in his targeting Liam Connor Jnr ever since his arrival on screen last year. But he hasn't been alone in the taunting and abuse of the fellow teen with his gang of mates, including Liam's neighbour and former friend Dylan Wilson, also involved.
The bullying campaign, which included Mason pulling a knife on a terrified Liam, recently resulted in the heartbreaking discovery that Liam was contemplating taking his own life with his mum Maria Connor watching his every move as she did what she could to get help and justice for her son.

But after more concerning behaviour from Mason, including threatening Dylan into changing his statement, things seemingly came to a head during the latest episode of Corrie on Monday night (April 8) as both Liam and Dylan faced Mason in court.
While Liam was asked questions about his emotional experience at the hands of the teenage bully, Dylan was conflicted about telling the truth about all that went on due to Mason threatening him and his family. He did, however, eventually tell the truth and Mason appeared to be facing the full force of the law.
