Coronation Street fans do double take over villain's 'return' and say 'he's the image of him' as they're distracted by funeral scenes

Coronation Street fans were left doing a double take as they thought they spotted a villain's return during the ITV soap's latest scenes. It was an emotional trip to the cobbles on Monday night (September 25) as Paul Foreman laid his friend Shelly Rossington to rest following her upsetting death.
Paul has been left devasted by the loss of Shelly, who he met at a support group after he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Following her death, Paul vowed to help plan the funeral with the service being conducted by his husband-to-be Billy Mayhew.
After meeting outside Shuttleworth's funeral parlour, Paul, Shelly's career Jim and her estranged brother Kieran all made their way to the church. The service got underway before it was disrupted by Kieran who took umbrage when hediscovered Paul would be giving a reading instead of a member of late Shelly's family.

"Hang on. Why is he doing it? Should be a family member doing it. I'm her brother and no idea who this fella is," Kieran fumed only for Paul to snap back: "Yeah well you would do if you had spent some time with her before she died... You ignored her, you left her to die alone."
Kieran then lunged at Paul and the two began to fight as other members of the congregation tried to pull them apart, meanwhile, Billy trying to intervene only resulted in him being accidentally hit in the face by his partner.
After being pulled apart Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) expressed: "You need to leave." As Kieran circled Paul, he cruelly jobed: "Have a nice life, what's left of it," before George
