Coronation Street fans have begged for the soap to be 'left' as they were struck by another week of change. Viewers of the ITV soap are used to getting their weekly Weatherfield fix on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday night.
However, for the last three weeks the long-running show has had to shift from its usual schedule due to both football and rugby coverage. On Monday (October 2), Corrie confirmed the latest set of changes on its social media channels.
They revealed that, again, the episodes will air on consecutive days at the start of the week meaning fans will have to wait a little bit longer than usual before they next return to the cobbles, which will be on Monday, October 9, when the epic Super Soap Week begins.

The post said: "Slight schedule change again this week everyone! Don't miss us on ITV or ITVX," sharing that Corrie would again air for an hour from 8pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night.
And Corrie fans were quick to respond to the post as they shared their disappointment over another week of changes. One screamed: "NO NOT AGAIN." Another complained: "Too long a gap from weds to the next Monday I get withdrawals."
A third replied: "Whyyyyy. I keep missing Corrie and watching half of the next episode without realising which ruins it for me because I expect it to be on during its time slots." A fourth moaned: "Omg this is ridiculous now .why can't they find a other channel for sports." A viewers also shared: "Fed up with this now, just leave it."
