Coronation Street fans say Super Soap Week drama 'stolen' by 'legend' character - and it's not Stephen or Jenny

Coronation Street fans have said that despite all the drama Super Soap Week had to offer, there was one particular character that 'stole' the string of episodes - and it wasn't axed serial killer Stephen Reid or survivor Jenny Connor.
While viewers of the ITV soap knew Stephen's reign was coming to an end, there were a number of twists and turns before the desperately broke businessman left the cobbles - for good. Before his exit, Stephen turned on his own family by attacking Sarah Barlow and threatening Jenny Connor as he pleaded for his passport.
The confrontation then spilled onto the street in front of the Rovers Return where Stephen's horrified family watched on. With his passport back, Stephen looked set to spare Jenny thanks to his mother Audrey Roberts' appearance in front of him. However, he ended up being run over by Peter Barlow, moments after he’d set Jenny free, and confirmed dead before the episode came to a close.

Then, just as the audience was still reeling from the shock of Stephen’s death, with mum Audrey crouched over him, another bombshell was dropped as Tim, who’d been attacked by Stephen earlier in the week and his lifeless body dumped in the boot of his taxi, opened his eyes. But now, he's trapped in the woods with the only person knowing where he is now dead.
