Britain's Got Talent has confirmed two more finalists for its 2024 series - with magician Jack Rhodes and Double Dutch troupe Haribow competing to win on Sunday. However, it means that choir Ravi's Dream Team - who touched the hearts of viewers with their inspiring story - missed out on a place in the big final. While the group made it to the final three, Jack was chosen as the winner of the public vote and Haribow were the judges' pick to make it through to the next stage.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to give their thoughts on Tuesday's winners, some fans expressed their disappointment for Ravi's Dream Team - a choir that aimed to raise awareness of brain tumours after its leader, nine-year-old Ravi, was diagnosed with a benign growth. "Britain's Got Talent? Gutted for those kids #BGT," one viewer wrote. Another tweeted: "Poor kids crying.
What a shame," referencing one of the younger choristers who became visibly upset after not making it to the final. "Ravi's Dream Team making me weep #BGT," another fan wrote. "Dream Team should have gone through absolutely gutted x," someone else said.
Tonight's semi-final saw eight acts take to the stage to perform once more, including singer Ace Clvrk, animal impressionist Genevieve Cote, magician Jack Rhodes, shadow puppeteer Matteo Fraziano and choir Ravi's Dream Team.
They were joined in the line-up by cheerleading troupe Lady Grenades, Double Dutch group Haribow and South Korean boyband Blitzers. In Monday's semi-final, opera singer Innocent Masuku and the Ssaulabi Taekwondo Troupe made it through to the big final. Unfortunately, dog performers The Trickstars narrowly missed out on a place after making it to the final three.
