BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden's hidden message in Loose Women appearance as she shares emotional plea

Amy Dowden has shared a hidden message in her choice of outfit for her Loose Women appearance as she made her debut on the show. The dancer appeared on the ITV lunchtime programme on Friday (October 20) to share her breast cancer journey and hopes to be back in her dancing shoes for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Amy has been forced to miss out on competition in the BBC One dance contest this year after being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. The 33-year-old dancer announced in June that she had undergone a mastectomy.
The Caerphilly-born star then later confirmed after her surgery that doctors found another type of cancer, which she described as a “massive blow” as it meant she would not be able to compete in Strictly this year as she'd have to undergo chemotherapy.

Speaking about finding the lump which turned out to be cancerous, Amy told Jane Moore, Denise Welch, Judi Love and Nadia Sawalha: "The day before I went on my honeymoon, I found a lump on my breast. But I'd only recently started checking my breasts.
"I went on the Copperfield trek with Giovanna [Fletcher] when I was partnered with Tom Fletcher - and that's the wonderful thing about Strictly, is the friendship it creates. The Fletchers welcomed me into their family. Later that year, I went on a trek with G and whilst I was on the trek, I was with ladies who were telling me their stories."
