BBC's hit reality show The Traitors has been keeping fans entertained since its launch at the beginning of the month.
The show - hosted by Claudia Winkleman - sees the contestants betray and backstab one another in a bid to win the cash prize of up to £120,000.
After weeks of watching the “Faithfuls” be killed off by “Traitors”, the finale of the murder mystery show looms and fans have questions.
Do the contestants have access to the outside world? Do they really sleep in that grand Scottish castle? Can they have a cigarette break?
To answer all of our burning questions, TV columnist Sarah Wallis spoke to the Mirror, revealing all the behind-the-scenes action.
Sarah revealed that whilst the contestants aren't paid to take part on the show, they're reimbursed around £100 per day to cover the wages they're missing out on.
She added that during their time on the show they're strictly not allowed to communicate with anyone in the outside world.
She said: "One thing they most definitely cannot have is access to the outside world. If the Faithful and Traitors had their phones – or any access to the internet – they would be able to Google each other and possibly gain unfair advantages. Sometimes even the remote controls for the TV in their hotel rooms are confiscated."
Touching on what players are allowed to do, Sarah revealed: "Players are allowed smoking or vaping breaks but under no circumstances are they left alone. They’re allowed alcohol – you’ve probably seen them having a drink after banishment.
"There’s a two-drink limit but Wilfred, a traitor from the first series, revealed: “They said two but they [staff] always disappeared after one. They don’t want us to mess up and get drunk and accidentally do something.”
