Since the second season of The Traitors started this month, we have, like many, been obsessed with Claudia Winkleman's on-screen wardrobe - is there anyone who isn't talking about it? Hanging up her sequins and dancing shoes for outfits of a more practical nature (because let's face it, the riotous Scottish highlands is no place for strappy cami dresses and glitzy gowns), she's sparking a whole 'traitorcore' trend. Working with her stylist of 18 years, Sinead Mckeefry, the duo has managed to create a media storm with her weather-appropriate wear, ingeniously combining British heritage with a goth-punk aesthetic.
However, one unusual accessory has caused a particular stir among viewers and, surprisingly, Claudia says she doesn't even like them. Her red leather fingerless gloves have sparked an 80s revival with fans rushing to get their hands on a pair.
You might be shocked at the price tag, too. Considering Claudia's wardrobe has offered up some high-end designer garms at eye-watering prices, the exact pair she wears on the series is a £4.99 Amazon faux leather find, making it one of the more affordable trends to come out of the show.
They've since sold out, however, we've found a similar version you can shop for under a tenner here.
British Vogue revealed in a recent interview with Claudia's stylist that the duo actually hates the red-blood-hued gloves that have fast become a trademark for her 'traitorcore' outfits. In fact, it's now come to our attention that Mckeefry had no say in the accessory du jour.
