The Traitors returned for a second season this year.Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the reality series sees 22 contestants compete for a prize fund worth up to £120,000 at a castle in the Scottish Highlands.As they arrive at the castle, a small number are selected to be “Traitors” who have to eliminate the “Faithful” contestants to claim the prize. However, if the latter manage to work out and banish the deceitful contestants through daily roundtable meetings, they win the cash prize instead.The show’s second season began on Wednesday January 3 and concluded on Friday January 26 after twelve episodes.After a tense and dramatic finale, traitor Harry was revealed as the winner of season two of the show.Evie was banished first in the final after the remaining contestants voted that she was a traitor before it was revealed that she was in fact a faithful.

The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman has hit out at 'misogyny' among this year’s Traitors as Faithful Charlotte was sent home and yet another male, Ross, was recruited into the fold. Clearly unimpressed by the choice made by remaining Traitors Harry and Andrew, Claudia even wryly joked that their decision to recruit another male was "just like the olden days".The unexpected recruitment happened during Friday's show (19 January), when tensions were already at an all time high due to the high number of players that had already been eliminated.

Fans of The Traitors appear to have already picked their winner, and are hoping he'll win "solo", after Wednesday's edition of the thrilling BBC show saw fan-favourite Diane 'murdered' and Traitor Miles uncloaked and banished. The unexpected development came after his fellow Traitor Paul orchestrated the discovery of his poisoning, something which lead to Miles being voted out of the Scottish castle. As the players thanked Paul for revealing Miles as a Traitor, Paul broke down in tears and put on an Oscar- worthy show - however, fellow Traitor Harry wasn't impressed.

The Traitors viewers have been left pondering whether there is another secret relationship within the Scottish castle following the latest fiery banishment. It had been an intense day for the traitors and faithful following a "slow march to certain death" for fan-favourite Diane.
