Alison Hammond tells Dermot O'Leary 'sorry' as he shuts down This Morning conversation because it's 'on the telly'

Alsion Hammond was left jokingly apologising to her co-host Dermot O'Leary as he shut down a conversation between the pair on This Morning. They were back fronting the ITV daytime show on Friday (July 21).
They returned to the programme for their final show of the week after taking a day's break on Thursday (July 20). The pair had to miss their penultimate show of the week as it was taken off air to make way for the start of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.
To make up for it, Alison, 48, and Dermo, 50, had a busy show on their hands. Coupon Queen Holly Smith was back rounding up her best summer deals, John Torode was in the kitchen and in the spirit of the start of the Women's World Cup, he whipped up his spicy Aussie burger made with shrimp, while former Airline star Jane Lee spoke about going viral on TikTok 25 years after the reality show aired.

And that wasn't all as the cast of 42nd Street sang the hit 'We’re In The Money' outside, while stars of the show, former EastEnders star Samantha Womack and Steps singer Faye Tozer, told the hosts all about their roles in the musical.
However, it was a conversation, albeit brief, between Alison and Dermot that seemingly caught people's attention as Dermot stopped his co-star and friend from going any further. It appeared Alison was riddled with guilt after watching a rather cute segment about a pig.
"What a lovely pig. I don't want to eat bacon anymore," the former Big Brother star said as the cameras returned to the studio. She then turned to Dermot and asked: "Shall we stop?"
But the former X Factor host didn't quite take to Alison's question as he replied, seeming baffled:
