A non-binary Scottish teen has opened up on being told they were 'disgusting' and 'going to hell' after coming out to their strict religious family.

A historic Scots estate dating back to the 19th century has been destroyed following a fire.
Fire crews rushed to the scene at Gartshore Estate, Kirkintilloch at around 10.10pm on Saturday, January 15.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) deployed six fire engines to the area and the blaze was extinguished.
Police Scotland also attended to help with road closures in the area, which was soon made safe by the firefighters.
East Dunbartonshire Council also confirmed Waterside Road between Drumgrew Bridge and Langmuir Road was shut the following morning.
Lyn Sawyers, whose family have owned Gartshore Estate for 40 years took to Facebook to share photos of the damage caused.
She also wrote: "After observing the complete destruction of a place that meant the world to me, I've been left utterly speechless at how cruel some people can be.
"This place has been in my family for over forty years. And in recent times, it's been subject to break-ins, vandalism and now destruction.
"It's absolutely disgusting and this sort of behaviour should not have to be tolerated, if you have any information then please do the right thing and get in touch with the police.
"it's just simply heartbreaking."
An SFRS spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.51pm on Saturday, January 15, to reports of a fire affecting a building in Waterside Road, Kirkintilloch.
“Operations control immediately mobilised six fire engines to the location and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
