A Scots bar has hit out at brazen customers who ripped a sink off a wall and flooded the ladies bathroom.
Staff at the West End Bar in Blantyre were astounded to discover the damage caused to the pub toilets by punters on Saturday night.
The boozer was forced to close early on a busy evening due to the shocking incident that has left the ladies bathroom out of action.
It is thought three women, who were in the toilet for around six minutes, were involved in the vandalism.
CCTV footage captured the group leaving the bathroom laughing before another customer tried to use to facilities and alerted bar staff.
Posting about the appalling incident on social media, the West End Bar said: "A great night was called short due to the animal, which is really the only way to describe such individual, who thought it would be fun to rip the sink unit off the wall in the ladies, pull the two sinks out the unit and leave it until the place flooded!
"Absolutely sick of people having ZERO respect for property that is not theirs… if this is how you treat others property I would hate to see what your house is like!
"Apologies to everyone who was in and had to leave early, we really didn’t want to close but we had no choice!
"Until further notice the ladies will be out of action, ladies will need to use the accessible access toilet in the bar.
"Our amazing plumber will get onto this asap and we’ll have the toilet reopened when sorted."
In a later update the bar said they had reviewed CCTV footage and were giving the women involved a chance to come forward before reporting the damage to police.
