A female pedestrian has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down during a multi-vehicle crash in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Jocks Lodge in the capital at around 5.10pm on Tuesday.
A video from the scene, shared with Edinburgh Live, shows a stricken Nissan Qashqai and a Mini Cooper, which have been badly damaged.
Pieces of debris were strewn across the roadway while three uniformed officers stood outside the Limelite bar.
Police have confirmed that a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The woman's condition is not currently known.
A force spokesperson said: "Emergency services are in attendance following a crash, involving a number of vehicles and a pedestrian, on Jocks Lodge in Edinburgh which was reported around 5.10pm on Tuesday, 21 June, 2022.
"A female pedestrian has been taken to hospital.
"A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
