Gloria Hunniford found herself rushed to hospital after falling over at her son’s house a few weeks ago. Gloria, 82, was left with severe bruising on her leg and a broken eye socket as a result of the fall, meaning the Loose Women panellist had to cancel her Jubilee plans. She had tripped over a rug at her son’s house and landed on a hard wooden floor.
A few weeks on from her horrific fall, Gloria made her Loose Women return today, Wednesday 22 June, where she discussed her accident. "So, as long as the muscle holds it in place I should be ok." Things went on to take a turn for the worst for the TV presenter expressed concerns about having developed a clot in the brain. Gloria said: “I was worried, if I’m being honest, about maybe a clot of something in the brain because a friend of mine had a similar fall, and I was very relieved to know that it didn’t.” Gushing over the NHS, she went on: “[The NHS] were fantastic.They did my neck.They did everything they should have done.” “The ambulance got there in ten minutes,” Gloria added earlier on in the conversation. “In A&E they were amazing.
