Hull City boss Liam Rosenior has outlined why he is so excited to work with 'freak' Man City loanee Liam Delap.
The Manchester City striker has signed a season-long deal with the Tigers and will no doubt be hoping to impress during his spell at the MKM Stadium. Delap spent last season in the Championship with Stoke City and Preston North End.
He endured mixed spells at both clubs, returning from Stoke in January in what was his first senior loan. He'll now be working under Rosenior, who has a reputation for developing and nurturing young talent.
The Hull boss was delighted to get the deal over the line and believes Delap will be a perfect fit for their play style. He revealed the Yorkshire club fought off significant competition to land his signature.

"I’m absolutely delighted that Liam is coming here," Ronseior told HullLive. "We’ve fought off a lot of competition from other Championship clubs and clubs around Europe. He’s someone I’ve known and been aware of for a long time.
"Liam completely fits into the way we play. He’s got outstanding physical attributes and is a great finisher. He’s got freak speed, is aggressive and can run in behind, which is one of the areas we wanted to address. He’s someone the fans will really enjoy watching.
"He’s had an amazing education and upbringing at Manchester City. In the right team that plays to his strengths, he can be a real asset and I believe he’ll be a real asset for us moving forward."
