Freeze the Fear, an icy new TV show hosted by Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack begins on Tuesday (12 April). The show will see eight celebrities test their limits in sub-zero conditions, led by extreme athlete Wim Hof.
Challenges include plunging into a freezing cold lake, abseiling down a mountain slope - while facing forwards - and walking through snow bare foot. Actress Tamzin Outhwaite, tenor Alfie Boe, Manchester United star Patrice Evra and dancer Dianne Buswell are among those swapping their cosy lives in the UK for the Italian Alps.
Weatherman Owain Wyn Evans, footballer Chelcee Grimes, sports presenter Gabby Logan and rapper Professor Green complete the line-up. Dutch native Wim Hof, who's earned the nickname The Iceman, is no stranger to the unforgiving wilderness.

He's broken 21 Guinness world records, including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle barefoot and swimming underneath ice for 66 metres. The 62-year-old honed his own set of techniques - called the Wim Hof Method - which he teaches to people all over the world, including professional athletes. Hugh Jackman and Kendall Jenner are among the stars who've tried their hand at plunging into icy temperatures, inspired by the extreme athlete.
Mr Hof's motto is 'what I am capable of, everybody can learn', and the adventurer is convinced that everyone can tap into their inner potential, control their body and mind and achieve extraordinary
