The Traitors is back on BBC One with its second series this week, and a new group of contestants are competing for a prize fund worth up to £120,000.
The show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, takes place at the Ardross Castle estate in Scotland. Among the contestants is Diane Carson, 63, who has already become a fan favourite on social media. Family life It's understood Diane, originally from Northern Ireland, lives in Lancashire with her husband, and she's a parent and grandparent.
She hinted that if she wins, she might spend some of the prize money on a family holiday. It turns out Diane from the show has a famous son, Kerr Logan, who's 35 and has been in big TV shows like Game of Thrones. He told everyone on X, which used to be Twitter, that his mum is on The Traitors.
Kerr tweeted a picture of the show's cast saying: "I'm not joking..... a family member of mine is in this photo and I've only just found out." He then shared a photo of Diane and said: "My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors.
My mother is on the traitors. She's bonkers. I'm scared." Diane's daughter Lisa Swainsbury and her actor husband Sam Swainsbury also talked about Diane being on the show.
Lisa said: "I'm still shaking my head in disbelief whilst laughing hysterically at points. [...] She's crazy and I'm so proud of her." Diane herself posted on Instagram about how she surprised her kids by going on The Traitors. She said they didn't think she could do it because she couldn't stay quiet.
