As temperatures heat up this week, people who own an iPhone are being urged to look out for signs their device is overheating.
The UK is currently sweltering under extreme heat, with the the next two days set to see some record-breaking temperatures.
Heatwaves can cause major issues with technology - including your smartphone which could actually become permanently damaged in very hot weather.

Apple is issuing a message to users through its operating system. It reads: "To resume use of your device as quickly as possible, turn it off, move it to a cooler environment (away from direct sunlight) and allow it to cool down."
Apple has guidance on what happens when your smartphone overheats, warning a heatwave could "permanently shorten battery life".
"Low - or high-temperature conditions might cause the device to change its behaviour," guidance states.
"Using an iOS device in very hot conditions can permanently shorten battery life."
During heatwaves, iPhones can easily exceed its normal operating temperature, which is between 0C and 35C.
Temperatures outside of this range might cause your iPhone to change its behaviour in an attempt to regulate, and you may even get a pop-up warning.
Apple has issued some some specific warnings for iPhones:
People should also avoid putting iPhones in confined spaces such as under bed covers, in pockets or the glovebox of a car.
If you feel your phone getting really hot, you should stop using it - or even turn it off.
