The Spanish government recently released new rules and restrictions for British holidaymakers travelling there over the summer.
Under the new restrictions, tourists from the UK must be able to prove they can spend £85 each day. Brits will also need to provide evidence of a return flight or onward ticket and proof of accommodation while on holiday.
The move has left travel firms unhappy, with many arguing that it puts the UK at a disadvantage despite contributing significantly to the Spanish tourism sector. Members of the public have also been reacting to the news, with some blaming the new restrictions on Brexit while other have described them as 'simple'.

More than a thousand readers commented on the Manchester Evening News' Facebook page about the story. Katrina questioned whether the restrictions would be enforceable.
She wrote: "Is this even enforceable. To check if you have at least £600 to spend, they'd have to check your bank balance.
"Accommodation is no problem as we all had to fill in forms stating where we were staying. Return tickets, to check you're not going rogue when you get there. It sounds like a misunderstanding to me, delivered as a way to scare people."
Karen added: "Let’s see where they are going to get their tourism from now if people chose other countries.. good luck Spain!"
Craig wrote: "Brexit. The gift that keeps on giving."
Paula commented: "Pretty obvious what the Spanish are trying to do, restrict people coming for a holiday who don’t have a lot of money. If people are on an all inclusive holiday they are not spending money in the local area, so not helping the local economy."
