A new vegan takeaway joint is opening in Piccadilly Gardens this week, with a menu that includes a plant-based take on McDonald's famous breakfast muffins.

Vegan Shack has expanded rapidly from its current site in Collyhurst and will now take over the former Wrap It Up site just off Portland Street.

The city centre takeaway is set to open its doors for the first time tomorrow, Wednesday June 23,
