Ten people have died after a horror bus crash in Turkey with another 39 people injured.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after a coach collided with two other cars and a truck during bad weather on Sunday.
It's reported that the bus, which was carrying passengers, skidded into the opposite lane and crashed causing a huge pile up on a main highway.
Police, ambulances and fire engines scrambled to the scene in Yenice, in southern Turkey, the Mirror reports. The bus was said to have been travelling from Diyarbakır to Istanbul.
Pictures that have been released capture the aftermath of the crash as emergency crews could be seen around the wreckage.
Shocking images showed the yellow bus with a huge white truck smashed up beside it. One of the cars involved was destroyed, with pieces of the wreckage spotted across the road.
Interior minister Ali Yerlikaya has paid tribute to the victims as he confirmed the death count. He wrote on Twitter: "A passenger bus going from Diyarbakır to Istanbul collided with 2 passenger cars and 1 truck on the highway in Yenice District, Tarsus District, Mersin Province."
He added: "According to initial findings, unfortunately, 10 [of] our citizens lost their lives and 39 [of] our citizens were injured. May God have mercy on our citizens who lost their lives in the accident and patience to their families; I wish a speedy recovery to our injured. My condolences to our nation."
An investigation has been launched, authorities confirmed.
