Two people are in hospital and a third has been left injured after an alleged dog attack in Edinburgh.

A road smash on the M8 caused traffic chaos on the motorway this afternoon.
The two-vehicle collision happened around 1:25pm this afternoon, Friday, November 10, on junction 8 at the M8.
Police are at the scene and two lanes on the motorway have been closed.
An image from the scene shows two vehicles sitting stationary on the motorway, with debris from both cars strewn across the road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25pm on Friday, 10 November, 2023, police received a report of a two-vehicle crash on the M8 near junction 8.
"Officers are at the scene and recovery will be arranged."

A Traffic Scotland spokesperson: "Two lanes are currently closed on the M8 westbound at junction 8 following a two vehicle collision.
"Traffic is currently very slow on approach, please take care on approach."
