A man has been arrested and charged after fireworks were directed at police officers during Bonfire Night chaos in Livingston on Sunday.
Emergency services were responding to a large scale disturbance at Letham Park, Craigshill, when police officers were targeted with fireworks.
A 39-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday, November 8.

It comes after police officers and firefighters experienced unprecedented levels of violence across Scotland on Bonfire Night.
Attacks happened in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, South Lanarkshire and West Lothian.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Investigations remain ongoing into multiple reports of reckless use of fireworks throughout West Lothian.
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 0945 of 3 November, 2023.”
