Netflix‘s big drama series “The Crown” is coming to an end, with the sixth and final season debuting on November 16 in a Part 1 and Part 2 coming out on December 14. EXCLUSIVE: Lion Forge Entertainment has set a first-look deal with award-winning Nigerian creator and producer Roye Okupe. YouNeek Studios founder and YouNeek YouNiverse creator Okupe recently teamed with Lion Forge on the animated fantasy series Iyanu, based on Okupe’s graphic novel Iyanu: Child of Wonder. Production is currently underway for the Cartoon Network and Max animated series, which Lion Forge will introduce to global distributors at MIPCOM next week.

AMC Networks has released the first trailer for Orphan Black: Echoes, an original series set in the Orphan Black universe, starring and executive produced by Krysten Ritter. The teaser was released Thursday at New York Comic Con. The series debuts onAMC, AMC+ and BBC America in 2024.

Holly Willoughby made her This Morning debut in 2009 alongside co-host Phillip Schofield, when she took over Fern Britton's role.The 42 year old TV presenter appeared nervous as she fronted This Morning for the very first time at 28 years old in a resurfaced clip. Ellise Shafer Angelina Jolie transforms into legendary opera singer Maria Callas in the first images from Pablo Larraín’s biopic “Maria.” The “Jackie” and “Spencer” director’s latest film will “explore the life of the legendary, iconic and controversial singer, often described as the original diva,” according to its official description. “Based on true accounts, ‘Maria’ tells the tumultuous, beautiful and tragic story of the life of the world’s greatest opera singer, relived and re-imagined during her final days in 1970s Paris.” As “Maria” is an independent film with an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA, production is set to take place over eight weeks in Paris, Greece, Budapest and Milan.

Lego and Nintendo have revealed Lego Animal Crossing, featuring mini figures of fan-favourite villagers as well as characters like Isabelle and Tom Nook.The teaser for the collaboration showed Rosie, Bunnie, Marshall, Kapp’n, Fauna, Julian, Isabelle and Tom Nook waving at a floating present with a balloon attached. When the clouds parted, the logos for Lego and Animal Crossing appeared in the sky.Behind the villagers were Lego trees with plastic fruit like apples, oranges and cherries on their branches, and Lego flowers studded into the grass.

One of 2024’s most anticipated TV shows now has a premiere date.  Apple TV+ announced that “Masters Of The Air,” their upcoming mini-series from Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman, the same team who produced “Band Of Brothers” and “The Pacific,” will premiere on the streamer on January 26, 2024. Two episodes premiere on that date, with one new episode every Friday through March 15.

It follows the deportation from Finland of eight Austrian-Jewish refugees by the Gestapo during World War II and the work of Abraham Stiller, a pillar of the Helsinki Jewish community, who tried to stop it from happening.
