This Morning viewers were left horrified by a guest eating raw chicken on live TV as Cat Deeley cringed over him describing it as "squishy and slimy". Cat and co-host Ben Shephard spoke to Weston Rowe who called in from Nebraska to talk about his stomach-churning diet of raw meat for every meal which he claims has improved his health.
Introducing him, Cat said: "Our next guest has quite the unique diet. For the last five years he's been enjoying meals consisting of raw spleen, kidneys and even raw chicken." Weston told how he eats around 2lb of raw meat a day, totalling 14lb a week, and said that it had helped him tackle health issues including skin problems, brain fog and fatigue.

Weston also shrugged off the idea of food poisoning, saying: "I find it kind of funny because I've eaten hundreds of raw chickens over the last five years and I've never gotten salmonella poisoning." Viewers were horrified as Cat and Ben asked him to eat a raw chicken leg live on air and he said: "It's really nothing, it's pretty bland. It's not too bad." Asked about the texture, he added: "It's just squishy and a little bit slimy." But This Morning's Dr Zoe said: "I would advise definitely not doing that," as she listed potential health problems from eating raw meat as being salmonella, clostridium, hepatitis A and "a nasty worm
