Tears as neighbours speak of terror after gunman opens fire on Salford estate

Neighbours on a Salford estate have spoken of their terror after a gunman opened fire in the street. A man was left seriously injured after being blasted on Sunday night (May 26).
Police were called to Aspinall Crescent in Little Hulton at around 9.30pm following a 'suspected firearms discharge'. Greater Manchester Police shots were fired at a property.
Cops and paramedics raced to the scene and a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. No further updates have been provided.

A spokesperson for the force said there was 'no wider threat to the public', although patrols have been stepped up in the area. An investigation is ongoing and a crime scene remained in place on Bank Holiday Monday.
Officers were seen standing guard, with at least three GMP vehicles still at the scene. People living on the stretch have told the Manchester Evening News of their fear at hearing about the terrifying incident.
"It's very scary," neighbour Tiffany Butterfield, 41, said. "We heard nothing... that's the scary part. I came out to move my vehicle and I just saw the cordon. We had been celebrating our culture day with good food and music."
"It's frightening," she added as she began to cry. "I come from an island, a very beautiful place. I came here to study. I've been here for four years.
"When I moved here, my neighbours told me I'd come to the wrong place. [The shooting] is so close to home. It's very disturbing. I've never seen as such. It's nerve-wracking."
Another neighbour, who asked not to be named, said he is thinking about moving his young family away from Little Hulton because of crime. "Next door but one to us got robbed last week," he
