Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice has spoken for the first time after it was revealed that partner Amanda Abbington won't return for the show's finale.
It has reportedly been a rocky road for the dancing duo, both on and off-stage. While the 33 year-old Italian and 51 year-old actress have impressed viewers with their sizzling routines, there were always rumours of clashes between the pair.
Previously, Amanda had to withdraw from the show due to reported medical reasons, meaning the dance pro could also not perform. After being offered the chance to return the following week, it was then reported that the couple would be quitting, again on medical grounds.

Taking to social media for the first time since her non-return was announced, Giovanni shared a video of himself dancing on a past tour with fellow Strictly professional Lauren Oakley, the Mirror reports.
He wrote: “Still one of my favorite dances from our tour @laurenmayoakley ! We both so excited to show you what we are creating with the genius @alanburkitt for the new tour coming up in 2024!”
On Tuesday it was confirmed Amanda would not return for the last episode in the season, with a show spokesperson telling OK! Magazine: "Amanda decided to withdraw from the competition, therefore she will not be returning for the final."
