Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin has spoken out for the first time since missing out on the Glitterball trophy with Layton Williams. The pair pulled out all the stops during the grand final of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (December 16).
Ukrainian dancer Nikita and his actor and West End star dance partner faced Ellie and her dance partner Vito Coppola as well as Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell as they all reached the end of the 2023 run of the competition.
The final live show saw them all perform three times each and while the judges gave their feedback and scores, the end result came down to the public vote. At the end of all nine performances, it was Bury-born Layton and Nikita who topped the leader rboard as they received a total score of 119 points out of a possible 120 after scoring two '40s'.

Meanwhile, Bobby and Dianne bagged 117 points and Ellie and Vito then placed bottom of the final leader board having received a total of 115 points but were crowned winners after the public vote.
With Ellie and Vito already speaking out on their win, and Dianne addressing missing out on the title with EastEnders star Bobby, the others have been taking time to reflect on their experience - and no doubt relax before putting some words together for their fans and followers.
On Tuesday evening (December 19), Nikita took to Instagram, after jetting off on holiday with his girlfriend, and shared a video featuring clips of many of his and Layton's dances and other moments from throughout their 13 week Strictly journey
