Strictly Come Dancing fans pleaded 'get one with it' as they tuned in to week four of the dance competition. The hit BBC One show was back on screens on Saturday night (October 14) following the spectacular that was last weekend's movie week.
The 13 remaining couples will once again be vying to impress the judges with their routines and you - the voting public - in order to avoid the dreaded dance-off, which last weekend saw Nikita Kanda and Goka Marquez kicked out of the contest.
But as fans tuned into the brand new week in the ballroom, they couldn't help but flock to social media and complain over what they described as 'cringe' opening. It saw the couples getting all dramatic as they spoke to the camera while in the midst of various moves in the training room.

"I've got to up my standard every week," West End star Layton Williams was heard saying before Paralympian Jody Cundy said: "I don't want it to be over." Actress Amanda Abbington also looked serious as she remarked: "There's still so much I want to learn."

But in that time, Strictly fans were sharing their thoughts on social media. @rozlaws said: "Oh please, just get on with it. #strictly." @ice_crystal commented: "This is rather X Factorish. #strictly." @eliseeeetw laughed: "That was a bit of a dramatic intro #strictly." @LauraSianDixon complained: "These dramatic VT’s at the start are so cringe I hate them
