Stop snoring immediately by ditching five popular foods from your diet, experts say

Snoring is one of those habits that is never done with any malicious intent, but can be incredibly annoying for whoever's sleeping near you.
And if you're the one who can't get through the night without snoring, it can feel frustrating knowing that it's keeping your partner awake late into the night and you can't do anything about it.
However, according to health and nutrition experts, your diet plays a huge part in whether or not you snore - and certain foods can make the issue a lot worse.
The Star reports that some foods can cause snoring as they make the body produce more mucus, triggering inflammation in your nose and throat.
This results in the loud wheezing noise that we know as snoring.
Because of this, anti-inflammatory foods such as vegetables, fruits and nuts are great products to eat before bed - but anything else should be avoided.
Ashleigh Tosh, from Prepped Pots powered by MuscleFood.com said: "Although changing your diet may not entirely stop you from snoring, it can go a long way in helping you manage and reduce the symptoms. If you're looking for a better night's sleep or wish to spare your partner from staying up until the wee hours of the night then take a look at your diet and try to cut out foods that can trigger snoring.
"By reducing your intake of processed foods, dairy, wheat and sugar and incorporating more anti-inflammatory foods into your diet, you can prevent blockages in the airways and sinuses and encourage better flow of air during sleep."
The first food you should consider ditching before food is anything dairy, like yoghurt, cheese and ice cream.
The lactose found in these products creates more mucus, which makes snoring worse.
You should also try to avoid sugary foods and drinks, because
