Sol Rodriguez and David Denman are the latest stars to join the cast of Peacemaker.
On Monday (June 10), it was announced that the 34-year-old Picard actress and the 50-year-old The Office actor were cast in the upcoming second season of Max‘s DC series starring John Cena in the titular role.

Of all the films released by DC in 2023, it was clear that “Blue Beetle” is the one James Gunn thought could continue on in his rebooted DCU. That said, the film had a dismal box office run, which led to many assuming that the franchise was DOA.

Animation pulled back the curtain on the first series developed and produced within Peter Safran and James Gunn’s DC Universe. That continuity will be both narrative and stylistic, with the animated series playing as a direct follow-up to Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad” and “Peacemaker,” while the creatures designed for animation will keep their same looks once they turn up in upcoming live-action offerings like the Gunn directed “Superman” reboot and the Viola Davis-led “Waller” spinoff.
