‘Twisted Metal’ Season 2 Casts ‘Barry’ Star Anthony Carrigan as Calypso (EXCLUSIVE)

Selome Hailu Anthony Carrigan is joining the cast of Peacock‘s “Twisted Metal” as a Season 2 regular. He will play Calypso, a character from the “Twisted Metal” video games who is described as “the mysterious, charismatic host and creator of a dangerous demolition derby tournament, who invites all assassins, vigilantes, mercenaries and joyriders to participate. To the winner, he offers the prize of making their greatest wish come true, but with Calypso there’s always a twist.” Also joining the cast of the action comedy series are Richard de Klerk (“A Teenage Prophet,” “Strange Empire”), Patty Guggenheim (“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” “Florida Girls”), and Tiana Okoye (“Panhandle,” “Mrs.
Davis”) in recurring guest roles with details yet to come. Carrigan is best known for playing NoHo Hank in “Barry,” which ran on HBO for four seasons from 2018 to 2023 and earned him three Emmy nominations. He will soon appear in A24’s “Death of a Unicorn” and James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film as Metamorpho.
