Singer Jackson Browne says he's tested positive for coronavirus: report

LOS ANGELES — Grammy-winning singer John Prine, who wrote his early songs in his head while delivering mail and later emerged from Chicago’s folk revival scene in the 1970s to become one of the most influential songwriters of his generation, died on Tuesday, the New York Times reported. He was 73.

Steven Spielberg is extending a helping hand to the health care professionals who are relentlessly combatting the mounting coronavirus cases around Los Angeles. The three-time Academy award winner, 73, through his production company, Amblin Entertainment, sent over quite the spread of food to doctors and nurses at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., according to TMZ.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have returned home to the United States after testing positive for COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, in Australia. The "Cast Away" actor took to his Twitter account to announce the good news after he and Wilson spent more than two weeks in Queensland self-isolating.

News that they've returned to Los Angeles after recovering from the virus in Australia. The couple was all smiles as they were photographed driving on Friday.

Jackson Browne was suspicious that something was not right when he started feeling ill in recent weeks. “As soon as I had a small cough and a temperature, I tested [for COVID-19],” he says. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee tells Rolling Stone that he has tested positive for the coronavirus and is currently recuperating at his Los Angeles home. “My symptoms are really pretty mild, so I don’t require any kind of medication and certainly not hospitalization or anything like that,” he adds.
