Organisers of the Scottish Album Of The Year prize have this morning opened up the public voting portion of the search for the very best Scottish album of the last year. Music fans have until Wednesday night to vote for their favourite from the longlist – the winner securing a place on the shortlist, which will be announced on Thursday.“The SAY Award public vote is the chance for music fans to have their SAY in the determination of the shortlist”, say Robert Kilpatrick, Creative Director of awards organiser the Scottish Music Industry Association.
