A Scots mountain rescue team has hit out at the irresponsible dog owner who left an unwelcome donation at one of their refuge sheds.
Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team (AMRT) posted about the find on Facebook, sharing an image of the full dog poo bag left hanging on the door to one of the refuge spots in the national park.
In the picture the small green bag can be seen hanging from the lock, meaning the team had to remove it before they could gain access, reports Aberdeen Live.
The post has left several Facebook users outraged by the petty actions, with CMRT also asking visitors to the Cairngormsnot to leave behind dog waste bags.
In the post on their official Facebook page, the angry team wrote: "Found hanging on one of our MR buildings.
"Whilst we do say we accept all donations no matter the size... this wasn’t quite what we had in mind.
"If you bag it please don’t leave it hanging. Here’s some guidance on what to do with your poo.
"If anyone wants to make a more conventional donation our 50th sponsored walk is fast approaching on the 11th of June.
"Full details on how to sign up can be found on the Facebook event or our website!"
An angry follower wrote: "I just don't understand this... If you've managed the yucky bit of actually getting it in the bag then just carry the bag!"
