This is the heartwarming moment a kind-hearted bus driver guided a group of duckings and their mother down to a nearby river.
Krzysztof Sieniuc, 39, spotted the group making the voyage in Musselburgh while on a break at work.
The Polish dad, who has lived in the town since 2011, decided to help the mum and chicks to ensure they completed the journey safely.
In the video, shared with Edinburgh Live, the duck and her 10 babies can be seen scampering along the pavement while Krzysztof keeps a watchful eye.
Further pictures show the birds crossing the roads as they try to navigate their way back to the safe waters of the River Esk.
Dad-of-one Krzysztof said: “I was walking home when I turned into my street and my brother in law pointed out that there was a duck family on the road.
“I was on my break so I decided that the extra walk with the ducks to the river wouldn’t impact me much.
“It took about 10 minutes all together. It was slow but was also very relaxing.”
Krzysztof, who is also behind a drive to support Ukrainians fleeing war, said locals stopped to help let the ducks pass-by as they crossed the road on their voyage.
He added: “The reaction was quite nice and everyone who saw me was smiling.
“The high street in Musselburgh was full but people stopped to let the ducks go through the cross road.
“It is always nice to be nice. Plus our environment is destroyed enough by humans, so every little help is always good.”
Krzysztof, who is also expecting another child later this year, set up the group 'Alba Ukraine' along with his family to help those fleeing the conflict.
He moved to the East Lothian town 11 years ago after moving from High Wycombe.
