A Scots bride has shared the reality of the morning after a wedding in a brilliant mirror selfie.
Jade McBride, 32, married her partner Michael, 34, in a stunning ceremony at the Busby Hotel in Glasgow at the weekend.
But the blushing bride, who is a mum-of-five, was left feeling worse for wear after the couple and their loved ones partied the night away.
Instead of sharing picture-perfect photos, the hungover newlywed decided to take a mirror selfie when she woke up to reveal the unfiltered reality behind the morning after tying the knot.
Posting in a Facebook group, Jade said: "Big shout out to all the gals who got married yesterday hope ya'll are as f***d as me today xo".
In the photo, a hungover Jade is seen posing in the mirror with smudged makeup and her up-do still mostly intact.
The image is a stark contrast to those taken on her wedding day - but she joked that she looked good before she looked bad.
Jade told the Record she decided to post the image for a laugh. She said: "I posted the picture just for a laugh as I’m not a serious person at all and I just found it funny!"
She added: "I looked good before I looked sh***."
Almost 900 people have liked Jade's post so far and other brides were quick to applaud Jade and share their own stories.
Louise Melrose: "Omg hilarious but true. We should start something like those perfect first day at school pics versus end of the day pics. Wedding day pics after hair and make up etc versus dragged through a hedge next day pics."
Amy Barclay added: "Married on Saturday and currently unable to talk at all."
While Jane Claire Stewart agreed: "Congratulations, that what I look like last year after our wedding xx"
Kara G wrote. "Congrats lovely! You still look beautiful by the way!"
