A couple who accidentally bought a 120-year-old derelict mansion in Dunoon then transformed the building into holiday apartments have shared a series of stunning before and after pictures.
Cal Hunter and his girlfriend Claire Segeren paid £10,000 for the wrong property after a lot numbers mix-up four years ago - but decided to keep it and renovate it themselves. Aged just 26 at the time, Cal, from Hull, was tasked with putting a bid on a home in Glasgow city centre.
However, he accidentally bid on the wrong unit, leaving them with Jameswood Villa - a crumbling uninhabitable property in Dunoon. The young couple faced a daunting list of problems for the property, which had lain empty for more than 30 years - and they even appeared on BBC One Scotland show Accidental Renovators.
The foundations needed repaired, a new roof needed to be installed, masonry above a bay window had collapsed and all the timber works inside the 19th century building were rotten. Despite never having renovated before - and with just £10,000 in the bank - the couple ignored expert advice to demolish the house and decided to sustainably bring it back to life instead.
They decided to live in a caravan in the grounds while they undertook the first challenges, including clearing the huge amount of debris in the building and making the structure secure by raising the roof. In July, we told how the home was finally signed off by inspectors after the four year renovation.
Then, last month, the couple revealed that tourists could book a stay at the home after they transformed the building into holiday apartments. Now the pair have shared a series of stunning before and after pictures, highlighting the incredible job they have done on the property.
