Rylan Clark chartered a private jet to get his mum Linda back to the UK after suffering a bad fall abroad.
The former Strictly: It Takes Two presenter, 34, took to social media at the beginning of the month to share that his beloved mum had suffered a horror fall while on holiday leaving her in hospital with broken bones. Linda is now well enough to return home, as Rylan spared no expense for the 71-year-old as he hired a private jet for the journey.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Rylan shared a photograph of a sleek private aircraft sitting on an airport runway. He penned: "She might have broke an arm and a leg but she’s cost me an arm and a leg! LINDAS COMING HOME!!"
Rylan also thanked the medical staff who looked after his mum for the last week. He added: "Massive thank you to the amazing team and surgeons at @helicopterossanitarios. Thanks for looking after my mum x".
Last Friday, Rylan asked fans for prayers after revealing that Linda had been hospitalised with multiple injuries. He told fans: ”So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she's had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out there.
"She's not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated. My priority at the moment is my mum.”
The star explained he would be missing his radio show as he rushed off to help his mum. Rylan added: ”Cheers to Scott for covering me at radio 2 and Thanks to the people out there that have sent their well wishes. Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.
"Will update you on mummy Linda as and when I can x.”
Rylan's famous pals rushed to send well-wishes to the star after the update that Linda would be back home soon. Jenny
