Rylan Clark appeared to be enjoying himself after he told fans he was 'stepping back' from social media. The BBC Radio 2 host hasn't had the easiest of times after his mum suffered a "bad fall" during their holiday together.
Rylan, 34, had whisked his mum off on her first holiday abroad in years when she fell and ended up in hospital needing surgery. He kept his loyal followers updated on her progress as he was inundated with well wishes for Linda before revealing he'd paid for a jet and medical team to help bring her back home to Essex.
The 71-year-old has since spent a week back in the comfort of her own home but earlier this week, Rylan sought some help online after struggling to find a private facility, admitting that he's privileged to be able to afford to do so and wanted to keep an NHS place for someone who can't, that would take his mum on as she needed her staples removed then rehab to be able to get back on her feet.

However, his comments ended up being misconstrued forcing him to clarify his plea for advice. He then later said: "Time to come away for a bit from here. Cheers everyone for your advice it’s greatly appreciated. X"
