Rylan Clark has made quite the impression as he revealed his decision to take a 'step back' after being forced to clarify his comments about the NHS. The BBC Radio 2 host took to social media to seek advice on behalf of helping his mum, Linda, after she suffered a "bad fall" while abroad.
Last week, Rylan revealed that he'd taken his mum on her first holiday abroad in years when she fell and ended up in hospital needing surgery. He kept his loyal followers updated on her progress as he was inundated with well-wishes for 71-year-old Linda before revealing he'd paid for a jet and medical team to help bring her back home to Essex.
After confirming he and a 'dream team' has got Linda, who has other health issues including Crohn's disease, back home to Essex safe and sound, Rylan, 34, returned to his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday (September 9) where he shared a fresh update on 'mummy Linda'.

The former X Factor star and Celebrity Big Brother winner said: "Unfortunately decided to take mummy Linda on holiday… she’s not been away for 10 years. And what (did) she going to do? Falls over and breaks an arm and leg, what (are) you going to do? Classic Linda, classic Linda.
"Now a little broken arm and a leg, (I) can deal with that but when you take that up with everything else (that) is wrong with her nightmare, especially abroad. But we are both back, mummy Linda is home safe and sound, she is recovering, she’s chilling out."
