Ryan Thomas' Dancing on Ice partner Amani Fancy and his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh were both quick to speak out after he bounced back from a tough week on the ice with an emotional routine.
The actor had a nightmare during the ITV skating show last weekend when he suffered two falls. Following a public vote, Ryan and Amani made it through to the latest round of the competition which saw the remaining celebrities take on their most personal routines to date.
Ryan, 39, decided to dance to a cover of Easy performed by his late father and 70s soul singer Dougie James, who died in 2020. After an emotional routine, Ryan struggled to hold back the tears as he embraced his professional partner and looked to the sky while Lucy, younger brother Scott and daughter Scarlett watched on in the audience.

Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern after the skate, Ryan said: "It was pretty special." And the judges appeared to agree giving Ryan and Amani a total of 35 points out of a possible 40 - their highest score of the series so far.
Christopher Dean said: "What a difference a week mates. You had so much content in there. It all came together tonight while Oti Mabuse added: "That was absolutely stunning. I loved the storytelling between you two. It was stunning."
After the public vote saw them safely skating through to another week, Amani took to Instagram with a repost from a fan page that showed three pictures of the pair - their tears following the routine - getting their highest scores so far and them both in action on the ice.
